TGS Baltic again successful at the “European Women in Business Law Awards”

For the second year in a row, TGS Baltic has been successful at the “European Women in Business Law Awards” and won the “Baltic Law Firm of the Year” award.

The Euromoney Legal Media Group’s Europe Women in Business Law awards recognize law firms for their efforts in helping women advance in the legal profession and better combine job and family or through initiatives encouraging networking among female lawyers as well as promotion opportunities for female lawyers in the legal profession. The winners are decided based on the extensive research and data verification process.

“This award is a clear acknowledgment of our success in encouraging women to pursue ambitious legal careers. It also reflects our ongoing efforts to nurture female talents across the Firm and to provide them with exciting career opportunities. Therefore, we are particularly proud to have been recognised for the second year in a row as the best Baltic law firm,” commented Eugenija Sutkienė, Managing Partner of TGS Baltic’s Lithuanian office, who also was nominated for the “Best in mergers & acquisition” title.

In addition to the award, TGS Baltic was shortlisted for “Best in mergers & acquisition” and “Best national firm for pro bono work”. The Firm was the sole Baltic law firm shortlisted in three different categories.

It is not the only international acknowledgement of TGS Baltic recently. The Firm has earned the highest ranking in the Baltics in the most recent independent Law Firm Review conducted by TNS SIFO Prospera, an international market research company. The survey was made by interviewing clients in each Baltic country about the performance of all top tier law firms plus a number of other law firms.

One of the most influential European law publications The Lawyer awarded “The law firm of the year: The Baltics 2015” title to TGS Baltic. The Firm was also shortlisted for “Best European Law Firm”, being the first Baltic law firm ever shortlisted for the award.
